Model 6070C         30.5' - 70.5', 3-Piece Boom Standard Specifications

• Boom: The 30.5' to 70.5', three section boom features fully proportional hydraulic extension and retraction. Its welded steel box construction has replaceable wear pads and bushings. A laid out luff cylinder increases load capacity at all boom angles. Maximum tip height is 80'. Elevation -2.5 to 79.5 degrees.
  
  
• Boom Tip: Four sheaves with roller bearings, cable stays, and pad eye for wedge socket provide the ability to reeve from 1 to 8 parts of line without requiring attachment of snatch blocks. Boom tip has quick-reeve design that does not require removal of wedge socket to change parts of line. The use of non-metallic sheaves reduces boom weight and increases cable life.
  
  
• Upperworks: The mast mounts on a 45" diameter swing bearing and is driven by a planetary gearbox with a spring applied integral brake. The standard hydraulic and electric rotary swivels provide 360 degree continuous rotation, and are accessible from the top of the deck for ease of maintenance. Removable counterweight and a provision for mounting an auxiliary winch are standard. 
  
  
• Controls: Outrigger controls are operated from the ground on both sides at the rear. Boom controls are located in the seat armrests in the operators cab. All controls are fully proportional.
  
  
• Operators Cab: Aluminized steel construction. Features include slide back door, tilt open sunroof, 5 way adjustable seat, windshield wiper, dome light, fan, multi-function joystick controls, engine on/off, foot throttle, and all boom controls. A pull out access platform is also included.
  
  
• Hydraulic System: Hydraulic system includes transmission mounted PTO, gear pump, and hydraulic reservoir with sight gauge, breather, and reservoir mounted 10 micron full flow return filter. 
  
  
• Outriggers: Computer optimized outrigger system features 24' spread, out and down type front and rear outriggers. Individual controls for each function allow ease of set upon uneven terrain. Firm footing is achieved by means of 24" diameter removable aluminum pads.
  
  
• Subframe: A high capacity torsion box connects the crane and outriggers into an integral structure designed to withstand all loads produced during crane operation. The design does not rely on the truck chassis for strength which allows for mounting on a lighter and more economical truck. The clamp-type mounting requires no welding or drilling on the chassis rails and thus maintains full factory warranty.
  
  
• Body: A partial, non-skid steel deck is provided with access ladders on both sides, headache rack, boom rest, pad racks, and all DOT required lighting. All components are pre-painted in customer's choice of colors with epoxy primer and polyurethane topcoat prior to assembly to ensure maximum protection.
  
  
• Load Chart: Each crane is load and stability tested before completion. This results in an individual load chart that is optimized for each crane.
  
  
• Winch and Reeving: Standard winch has variable speeds, power up and power down, planetary drive with spring applied, hydraulically-released brake.
  Maximum base layer line pull: 15,000 lbs.
  Maximum top layer line speed: 225 ft./min
  Reeving: Six parts of line STD, (up to 8 parts of line available)
  Rope: 580 - 1/2" diameter 6x25FW, IWRC, EEIPS
  Load Block: 25-ton quick reeve block, triple sheave with roller bearings, swivel hook and heavy duty safety latch
