2010: QMC and Jensen Precast start fleet
remounting project to meet CARB
standards.
|
|
Long time customer
Jensen Precast has decided the most
efficient approach to meeting the strict
emission standards now being enforced by
the California Air Resources Board
is to remount their long lasting
QMC cranes on new chassis. This
cost effective approach also allows us
to complete a thorough inspection of the
crane while it's on site. Any
maintenance or repairs can be performed
during the remount process which
completely avoids the downtime and cost
associated with pulling a crane out the
field.

2009: QMC 6082TD exported
to Canada for oil field service
work.
|
|
Featuring
a 82 foot
long 3-piece proportional boom
with over 50,000 pound lift
capacity in all quadrants, this
unit will be used for extreme
climate coil tubing work in
Canada. The crane is
equipped with a Wylie
quadrant-sensing LMI system,
non-skid coated diamond plate
deck and a tri-axle ABS-brake
system. QMC's exclusive
design utilizes the torsion-box
as the trailer's frame allowing
for substantial overall weight
savings. The result is a
larger payload capacity that yields
more choices in rigging and
payload transportation. An
optional diesel "Power
Pack" is available and eliminates any
dependency on a tractor to
provide power to the crane.

2009: QMC called upon for
crane remount & complete refurbish.
|
|
After several costly attempts to have a local
hydraulic shop properly repair
and remount one of their older
QMC cranes, a long time QMC
customer in El Paso, Texas turned to QMC to have it "done
right". The older
3630P crane
received a complete test and
inspection whereupon worn parts
were replaced as needed.
The front stabilizers
were replaced with our latest
design out-and-down style
outriggers. Upon mounting the crane on a new Peterbuilt chassis, the unit
was tested yielding a new
“improved” load chart.
Being the original
designer and manufacture, we are
better equipped than anyone to
properly remount and/or repair
QMC cranes. Please call us regarding this service at
